GenPath starts now!
Hey GENLAB is open!
Our laboratory, GENLab, is finally up and running after a long bureaucratic process. I am thrilled to open its doors to a first "set" of very promising students. This website will serve as a resource to share our space, news, and activities with the academic and non-academic world.
You will find several sections detailing different aspects of the lab and of the project that made it possible: GenPath. GenPath is a €1.5 million project on gender, funded by the Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG). Read more about GenPath here.
The lab hosts a group primarily dedicated to grammatical gender, as well as to the intertwining of grammar and emotion and to neurolinguistic research on negation. We work closely with UiT — The Arctic University of Norway and the Mind, Brain and Behaviour Research Centre (CIMCYC) at the University of Granada through our collaborators Prof. Marit Westergaard and Prof. Daniela Polieri; we also collaborate with the Department of Linguistics and Romance Languages at Goethe University Frankfurt.
